Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Golden Merchandising LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Faith, Brotherhood & Stewardship small-group website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit this website, express interest in the group, or communicate with us about it (the “Services”).
This policy applies to these Services. It does not describe unrelated stores, purchases, or other businesses or websites operated by Golden Merchandising LLC.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide: When you submit the interest form, we collect your name, email address, industry, city, state/province/region, and country. You may also provide a phone number, an age range and a response about what you hope to get out of the group. We record your permission to receive group-related emails, the notice version associated with your submission, and the submission date and time. We may also receive information you include in later communications.
Information collected automatically: When you submit the form, we record the IP address supplied by our hosting infrastructure, when available. Our hosting and security providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, request details, and access logs to deliver and protect the website.
Faith-related information: Your interest in this Christian group and anything you voluntarily share may reveal religious interests or beliefs. We use your signup information to organize the group and respond to your interest. We do not ask you to provide a denomination or detailed religious history. Please do not submit confidential information about others, financial account details, medical information, or other sensitive information in the form.
The signup form does not request your home street address, exact date of birth, or payment details. You may optionally provide a phone number. Optional fields may be left blank. Required information is needed to process your signup and contact you.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to maintain the interest list, organize the group, plan meeting arrangements, understand participants’ interests, respond to inquiries, and send group-related details and updates that you have requested. We also use information to maintain signup and consent records, help identify spam or misuse, troubleshoot the Services, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Signing up for this group does not enroll you in unrelated merchandise promotions or SMS marketing. We do not use signup information to create advertising profiles based on religious interests.
4. How we disclose information
Authorized organizers may access information as needed to administer the group. Service providers may process information to supply hosting, database storage, security, and communications. The website is built and hosted using Lovable, with Cloudflare infrastructure and Lovable Cloud database storage.
We may disclose information when you request or authorize it, when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, or to protect the Services, users, or others from fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity. Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, reorganization, or sale involving the Services, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell information collected through this signup form or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Form responses and recorded IP addresses are not displayed publicly or automatically shared with other participants.
5. Cookies and external services
We have not added advertising pixels or third-party audience analytics to this website. The hosting services and organizer sign-in may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, and operation. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect access or functionality.
The website loads fonts through Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google receives your IP address and technical request information. For details, see Google’s privacy information at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy.
External services and websites have their own privacy practices. This policy does not govern their independent collection or use of information.
6. Email preferences
We contact you about the group based on the permission you provide in the signup form. You can withdraw that permission by replying to a group email and asking to stop receiving messages, using an unsubscribe link when one is provided, or contacting us at the address below. Withdrawing permission does not affect processing that occurred before your request. We may retain a limited record of your preference to help honor it.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to organize and administer the group, maintain consent and communication preferences, address security issues, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the information and its purpose. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable requirements and backup limitations.
We use access controls and other safeguards to protect stored signup information. However, no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information you have provided, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights, such as receiving a portable copy, restricting or objecting to processing, appealing a decision, or submitting a complaint to a privacy regulator.
To make a request, reply to a group email or write to the address below. Please identify the email address used for your signup and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain any applicable limitations. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
9. Children’s privacy
The group and signup form are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through these Services. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
10. International visitors
We operate in the United States. Our service providers may store or process information in the United States or other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires protections for an international transfer, we will comply with those requirements.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before making material changes to how information is used.
